Pastor Athang sent the following message to our Pastors Rick & Lori, re: the imminent danger they are in due to the intense persecution in their country:

Thank you New Hope Waikoloa.
We are very much encouraged and strengthened by all your prayers of faith in Jesus Name .

The fighting is still going on in our  region and the food supplies still expensive.

Please continue to pray that there  should be forgiveness and love among the top tribal Christian leaders who are Rebels and also  politicians .

Please pray that there should be free movement to all peoples: Christians, Muslims, and Hindus, especially so that we Christians might be able to preach  to all the Nations

I need freedom to move a round and all over the World . We are persecuted so much! Lord open the door where  the Lord is leading and guiding me.

I felt that God is leading me to a safer place and  less persecuted place. One of my best friends in the Lord, his ministry had been attacked on 13th May 2026. He was peace promoter and preaching the gospel and killed without any reason.

I too could be killed any time if I do not come out of this tribal conflicted zone!

Please pray for my health and my wife Mariam. We need to move out as soon as possible as the fighting continues in our regions.
We need to raised air fare monies to come to Hawaii
for ministry and to seek Asylum  for some years untill the fighting stops.

Please pray for accommodation and some jobs for us to look after our selves for some time.

We are coming not to settle down permanently. But will go back to our home and ministry when the fighting stops.

Please pray for us and if the church could help us to raised the airfare from Calcutta city to Kona for three persons that would be about $ 4500 three of us .
Can I ask the New Hope Waikoloa to pray with us? Because of the war and the tribal conflicts our businesses and churches are downsized the last three years.

Please share with our church friends and wondering if any friend or family would be willing to help us to reach Kona, Big Island that would be great.
