How it all started...
New Hope Waikoloa is a Foursquare Gospel Church, initially planted in January 2014, in the heart of Waikoloa Village at Puu Nui Park. Pastors Rick & Lori Nagaoka answered the call with great anticipation, diligence, and determination, leading a handful of people and watching God grow the church in number, knowledge, and wisdom.
Expanding the vision...
In September 2017, everyone was filled with excitement as God had made a way for the church to move to its current location at the Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center Suite 215. Our Sunday service is at 9:30am and everyone is invited to come! (Our 11am service is postponed until further notice.) We have classes for both Keiki ages 5-11 and Youth ages 12-18 on 1st - 4th Sundays at our 9:30am service.

Where we are headed...
Praise the Lord that in January 2025. we closed escrow on the property of our future church home, which is located on Waikoloa Road above the Waikoloa Stables. We are now in the process of moving forward with our build, slowly but surely! As Proverbs 16:9 says:
The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.
Amen & Amen!! We will follow the Lord, as He leads and guides us in the process.
One of our goals, too, at New Hope Waikoloa is to pass the torch of Christ to the up and coming generation of godly, committed, believers; to teach, train, and equip them for Kingdom work. We are blessed to currently work with a thriving group of both Youth (ages 12-18) and Young Adults (ages 18-30), who has been truly committed to learning about and living out The Gospel.
It is important to us that we raise up a generation of leaders who will continue to carry the torch of Christ into our surrounding communities!
