Ephesians 6:10-13 (ESV)
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”

We cannot do ANYTHING without God! Our greatest strength comes through our faith in the One who can guide us through any situation. Hebrews 10 tells us…

“let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”

Ephesians 6 gives us the tools needed to strengthen our faith in God, but we have to know where to go for those tools, when to go for them, and then trust that those tools will work for us.

‭‭My faith has been tested more times then I’d like to admit. But God has graciously taken me through those times, not once, letting my hand go. His goodness is always there for me. Hebrews gives us many examples of “faith hero’s” that we can take lead from. I especially think about Moses, when standing at the edge of the Red Sea, knowing that the enemy’s army were coming, must have thought that his life and the life of the Israelites was over. Things did not look good for them, until God showed up, and made a way for them to be saved.

When my little Ezekiel suffered a seizure, we were all scared, and unsure of what was happening. In that moment I knew that I was the only one who could bring any sign of hope to this unexpected situation. But, at the same time, I really didn’t know how strong I could be for my family. I was dealing with my own emotions, and my heart was breaking for my little grand baby. It was then that I got on my knees and prayed and asked God to give me what I needed. The next five days were spent in ICU, but God revealed His faithfulness to my husband I, and to our family, each day that was spent in that hospital.

Father, thank you for your unconditional love and faithfulness, you never cease to amaze me! Thank you for the armor that helps me through each and every situation. It is only by YOUR strength that I get to testify of how faithful you are to us. I give you all the Glory!
